How is this worked out?+-
Each of the 25 paid places is judged on its own prize against what it takes to hold that place, and the table below shows every one of them. Nothing here rests on how many people turn up.
Case sites publish what it takes to hold each place, so Value here is scored place by place: every one of the 25 paid positions counts its own prize against its own wagering, and those ratios are added up. That comes to 42% of a possible 150%, which is roughly a twenty place leaderboard paying 13x at every position. Writing the table as ranges rather than rows changes nothing, because a banded row counts once per place.
The winner takes 25% of the pool, a flatter split than most, which is good news if you expect to land mid-table.
Creator rewards are Nyx's own, on top of the cash leaderboard, and are worth 18 reward points, which is 45 of 100 on Rewards.

Standings
| Place | Prize | To hold it | Per $1 back | EV |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $1,000 | $70,000 | 70xBad | -$5,650 |
| 2 | $700 | $46,000 | 66xBad | -$3,670 |
| 3 | $500 | $32,000 | 64xBad | -$2,540 |
| 4 to 12 | $150 | $9,000 | 60xBad | -$705 |
| 13 to 25 | $35 | $2,000 | 57xBad | -$155 |
EV is each prize less the 10% house edge on the wagering it takes to pass that place, as the table above publishes it, plus the creator's lossback. A long-run average, not a promise.
